DOF Protocol Session Protocol Registry
The DOF Protocol Session (DPS) Protocol Registry is used for all protocol versions and identifiers used in the DPS, including network, presentation, and application layers. The process for registration involves the following steps:
- Submit your request to the OpenDOF Technical Committee (OpenDOF TC) at dof-tc@opendof.org, containing:
- A justification for the new protocol assignment.
- A detailed protocol design.
- The design should be done together with an OpenDOF TC working group.
- If approved, the OpenDOF TC will assign a protocol number and provide any other feedback.
- The OpenDOF TC will publish the new protocol specification.
