The OpenDOF Project is pleased to announce the release of an updated C SDK for OpenDOF 7. The SDK is an important component for training and development of C applications using DOF Technology.
This component is a package of OpenDOF libraries, tools and support components for the C programming language.

Today we are pleased to announce a patch release of dof-inet-posix 2.0.1.
The POSIX Internet Transport is a C-language implementation of a POSIX, Berkeley socket-based transport for use with the C OAL.
The C Data Transfer Source Library provides an API to send data using the OpenDOF protocols to a Data Transfer Sink. This component provides the C libraries for developing applications for transferring arbitrary device/object data.
To use CMake to build the project, create a directory where the component will be built, and from that directory run the following commands. (Each component will need a different directory.)

Last week Panasonic contributed an entire implementation of the OpenDOF protocols in C to the OpenDOF Project. The corresponding SDK and precompiled binaries are now available on the Downloads page.
